To the Left:
We're not Brownshirts. We're not Nazis. These are town halls that you are setting up. It's not like we're invading private sessions where people are organizing to think about healthcare. We're doing plain ol' vanilla protesting. Remember your "Code Pink" buddies? At worst we're as bad as them.
To the Right:
There's no damn death panels! Cut it out already. I tuned into conservative radio today and I couldn't find a pundit not talking about how the government is going to kill you in your old age. Even a GOP Senator Takes On Palin, saying "Don't 'Gin Up Fear' With Death Panel Lies."
Now, having said both of these things, this is what you get when you have a braniac president. He thinks he's so smart that he whips up this big ol' complex bill that both the Left and the Right don't understand—hell even The Professor may not understand—and as a result, both sides have to resort to hyperbolic fear tactics to get their way. He should've done healthcare piecemeal with a series of paired proposals.
He should've looked at this list...

... and then made one bill for each of the top four items. Then for each bill, include something compassionate, like extending coverage, or protecting consumers against rescission. Done! I should be a political strategist!
